What exactly is

Permanent Makeup?

Permanent Makeup (micropigmentation) is a new, revolutionary cosmetic technique that enhances overall appearance. It produces articulate designs that resemble makeup which is commonly done on eyebrows, eyelids, scalp, and lips. It is considered body art, and importantly can be used to treat clients who have suffered hair loss due to health conditions such as alopecia, trauma, cancer and radiation therapy.

Microblading

Includes follow up appointment

Microblading is a manual technique considered to be semi-permanent makeup or cosmetic tattoo, also known as eyebrow embroidery, micro-stroking or 3D brows. This procedure allows the artist to enhance the appearance of your brows, or to fully create a new shape, by manually placing pigments in the upper layers of the skin in the form of hair like strokes that can hardly be distinguished from real hair, providing an incredibly natural look.

Removal

The first tattoo removal product designed specifically for eyebrows, Angel Removal is a safe, manual technique, designed to remove tattoo pigment from the skin, using a simple 3 step process. Here are several benefits:

    • Clients can put makeup on after 24 hours
    • Little to no scabbing / NO downtime
    • Removes all colors and all pigments on the market.
    • Takes no more than 40 minutes per treatment
    • Can even be used DURING a PMU treatment to correct mistakes!
    • Active ingredients are acids from antioxidant fruits.

Consultations are required for all previous work

Microblade & Shade (Combo brow)

Combination brows is a technique that provides both microblading and shading for a more natural and fuller look.

The shading gives the appearance of make-up through the microbladed hairstrokes. Combination brows are perfect for those with more sparse eyebrow hair and more oily skin.

Lip Blush

Lip blushing is a semi-permanent tattoo that can enhance the color and shape of your lips and give the impression of more fullness. This is done by depositing color ink into your lips and along your lip line to improve the overall look. The color is subtle to give natural-looking results.

Lash Enhancement

Enhance your lash- line with a Lash Enhancement! A Lash enhancement is a semi-permanent makeup method where pigment is carefully applied between lashes to give the lash-line a fuller look! It is very subtle, but can make a great difference!

Eyeliner Tattoo

Eyeliner is a Permanent Cosmetic makeup also called Tattooed Eyeliner. Micro-droplets of colored pigments are inserted between your lashes and under the skin with a digital tool. Sometimes this process is done over several passes, or it can be done over several appointments to monitor the color absorption. A numbing cream will be applied to reduce discomfort. The tattoo eyeliner color and shape is customized to your preference. The suggestion is to keep permanent eyeliner as simple and natural as possible.

Bottom Liner

Lower liner is applied on the bottom lash line to create a semi-permanent outline for just the bottom of the eye.

Scalp Micropigmentation

Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) is a procedure that is used to create the illusion of stubble, hairlines, or greater density in hair-bearing areas. In addition, it can be used to camouflage scars from hair systems used in the past such as transplants.

Consultations are required for all SMP candidates. “Density Fills” are done to fill in hair bearing areas. You may text (586-701-2244) or email photos to faceforwardmi@gmail.com

Please update under HOW LONG WILL IT LAST –  (After 1-2 years)
Results vary from client to client.

Between 1 to 2 years. This will vary depending on skin type, lifestyle, and following recommended aftercare.

A microblading service consists of a consultation where we discuss your lifestyle and desired results. Next we map the brows according to the natural symmetry of your face. Once we agree on the brow shape, the procedure takes about an hour and a half. The entire session takes a total of about 3 hours.

You will leave your appointment looking beautiful! The first 7-10 days, you’ll need to avoid getting them wet(including sweating from working out) or wearing brow makeup. For more details, please review the complete after care instructions.

Majority of clients are fairly comfortable. Many compare it to tweezing, or light scratching. Minor redness/swelling may occur, and usually subsides fairly quickly.
